3-5 pm

Halau I Ka Pono is happy to have Aunty Nina Shigaki teach crochet lei-making this coming Saturday, May 30, 2009 from 3–5 pm.

The class will be followed by a potluck supper and kanikapila – lt’s play Hawaiian music together! The cost is just for the materials plus an optional contribution of $15 to Halua I Ka Pono. Mahalo Aunty Nina for bringing such a warm Spirit of Aloha!

Originally from the Big Island of Hawaii and from Kumu June’s home town of Kakaiau, Aunty Nina now lives in Honolulu. She is visiting her brother-in-law and sister (and halau member), Harry and Cissy Plekavic in Berwyn.

Everyone is welcome! Please RSVP to kaili@zencommunity.org or 708.445.1651 by Thursday, May 28th, so we have enough lei materials.
